How hairs grow| growth and types of hairs


Like nails, hairs are made of dead cells packed with keratin they grow from living roots in the base of pits called follicles. A typical hair grows for 2-3 years after which it's blood supply is cut off and the root dies.A new hair then starts growing and pushes the old one out. We shed 50-100 old hairs every day.

Types of Hair

Straight, wavey , or curly

The shape of your hairs that are round in cross section (cylindrical)tend to grow straight.
Hairs tht are oval in cross section tend to grow in wavey style.

The hairs that are flat tend to grow curly. Curly hair can also be caused by hairs emerging from the skinat a slanted angle.

Why Hand sanitizer is bad

1:- Excessive use of Hand sanitizer can disrupt your micrbiomes....
